I've automated most things, I can say I don't go a week without cleaning the glass.

But I do random testing without any schedule, and I don't do water changes.

Feed. I definitely feed more than once a week

I try to scrub my glass daily! Sometimes, this does not happen, but whenever I start to notice film algae, it's scrubbing time.

I have a regular routine I do, water testing, glass cleaning, skimmer cup cleaning, and fill my ATO if needed every week. I try not to fiddle with my overflow gate valve. I have been trying to figure out future growth of my corals, and what I need to get next, this hits me daily when i check out my tank

I feel like an ATO is a requirement for a reef tank. What on earth would you do if you went away for 2 days and didnt top off?

I usually empty the skimmer cup, change the filter sock, test and change water weekly, but every couple of months I'll skip a week for one reason or another.
