The 11” is $400 and I thought it came when the hanging kit and tank mount legs

I don’t know how much the 11” bars are and I don’t think they really would be necessary in a smaller tank
I think the package was priced at close to $700 thinking about it now. They had the 11 on a very sun like color and the bars were blue it was beautiful. It really looked great. Just the right amount of strong shimmer lines.

11” edge bar is $135 each “prerelease”

I would like to see the meridian in action when it comes out. I wonder which light is "better" the Meridian 11 or the ReeFi Uno 2.1 Pro.
Detroit reef club has a facebook thing they do from time to time they have meridians up and running on a few tanks you may be able to see them in action. I wasnt super impressed by the larger ones but that small one on that small tank looked so nice. May be just the color they are running over the tanks or the height they are mounted. Price wise and power wise I would still go with Reefi.

I voted for AI Prime HD 16 because it's somewhere in the middle of pricing and should give you good coverage over 30-gallon cube.

Since someone else did it.

Shameless plug. I have an ai prime 16hd, gooseneck flex mount, and custom light shade I’m about to put up for sale.

The lens has two drip/melt spots under the two uv diodes. I just got a brand new replacement lens from ecotech. Just not installed yet. I’d sell everything for $100 + sh

Most of these lights are overpriced. Unless you love the shimmer ( I do ) I wouldn't go Kessil. They are great lights, but over priced. I have a 500x but I'm paying for shimmer.

Reefbrite, Reegbreeders, AI, Ecotech, ATI, and any of the other big brands I've missed are over priced. They may be fine lights, but they aren't worth their cost because there are bet options.

If I were using all LED I would use either the Noopsyche (I own one, and it has great shimmer ) or Reefi (I don't own one, but they look like the disco ball like crazy, so that would stop me ).

I just don't see the value in the higher priced lights now that Reefi and Noopsyche exist unless you want to achieve a very specific look.

If you want bars, I would go with Quanta, Reefbrite is way overpriced for what it is.

If you want the best looking tank, I would keep the Kessil you have for shimmer and add Quanta bars. `

Agreed.

The Noopsyche has better shimmer then the ReeFi Uno? I most videos I don't see any shimmer created by the ReeFi.

If I add bars I would go this way
Quanta > Orphek > Reefbrites
Yeah I dont get the people that say Reefi has disco mine does not. Maybe with the 90 reflector its more noticeable? I use the 120. There is a bit of shimmer but not much really and 0 "disco" effect the light is well blended. Now if they are saying the shimmer is different than a kessil yes of course it is 1 point source versus 30 or whatever it is going to be different. And there is not a diffuser on the light so it isnt going to be muted like a radion.

Lighting is such a personel preference you could not go wrong with any of those choices.
That said.
Reefbreeder if you have the cash.
Xr15 used, $300ish. I have 5 xr15's and run 3 on my ext 50. I purchased all of them used for around $350 each with the mount.

2 16hds or 1 32.
I run Breeders on 2 systems and xr15's on the other.
With the Breeder you can easily get a halide look. I ran halides for 30+.
My current 35g Redsea nem tank running a RB 24.
My old 18" nano cube running 2 16hds.
