I really need to sell my equipment financial issues is there a way to get permission fast?

I have a whole red reaf setup I dont use since its not a hobby of mine but it needs sold. I see it says here I need 25 days + 25 posts to sell items. I just need financial help asap...and 25 days is a wait. I have a whole neptune system and other equipment that I see is worth a decent penny used since it all works and wasnt used too long. Is there a way to get permission to list stuff for sale faster then waiting 25 days? People on marketplace really try to spin me around, knowing I dont know a lot about fish stuff and try to almost literally get my things for a steal....I wised up to that tho. I know its worth...and this is really the best place to find a buyer quickly..any help, appreciated.

Sorry about your situation. Hopefully it gets better. Just curious, you said you weren’t in the hobby, are selling on behalf of somebody else or were you in hobby at one point?

My girlfriends dad got into fish before they moved into a new house. Since a fish tank is a pain to move and re setup and it being heavy it didn't make the move. We live here in their old house now and its been sitting in a room I wanna use as an office so I was told to sell it. which is why i dont know about the stuff enough to price it.

Part of reason, is this scenario. We are a group of hobbyists sharing the concept of reefing. To join so you can sellitems and get funds is a partial reason for requiring Significant posts with other members to collaborate, share and learn this exciting hobby.

Is there any local clubs in your area? That is usually a good place to post stuff. Sometimes they have their own forums but otherwise usually a facebook group. Then you can collect cash and not get hit with shipping or paypal fees as well.

Not saying it's a scam, but you have to admit that the signs are there.

Based on your userid is seems you are from Ohio. There are some good fish shops in your area that can probably help you sell the setup easier that here. This forum has members from all over the world so you would either need to ship or hope to find someone local. There are also local fish clubs that can help as well, I’m from the Cleveland area and members here would be willing to meet you based on what you are selling.

It's all a little suspicious - the rules are reasonable in my opinion. You could always sell on facebook marketplace or craigslist which should provide a large pool of local customers for you.

No. Nothing is suspicious. And people would rather buy piece by piece on marketplace. I would just rather hope someone would have wanted it here sold as a whole system.
