I noticed an off-white discoloration on my mocha storm. She/he isn’t showing any obvious signs of stress/illness & is eating normal. I don’t see any spots but it looks like a light film, more noticeable on the head & underside. My tank is 3 yrs old & the last thing I added was a yellow wrasse 8 months ago.

I do 25-30% water changes every other week & last week all parameters were in normal range.

I just got rid of my quarantine tank but have a breeder box for separating if needed.

Rest of the tank (90g): black storm clown, purple dottyback, diamond goby, yellow wrasse, lemonpeel angel & yellow watchman goby

Any thoughts?

Opposed to ich, this appears to be secondary bacterial lesions associated with brooklynella disease however please post pics again , but under bright white light intensity- no blue to confirm. Secondary bacterial lesions are confused with ich.
Other signs of brook are loss of appetite, loss of color, hiding, wobbly swimming and elevated breathing

A video to see the breathing rate would help, but the spots are not very distinct, so I would lean towards Brooklynella, not ich. I doubt that it is velvet.

Hopefully you guys can see this. I’m going to QT in a few & see if I can get my hands on meds tonight.

So - you added this clown more than 8 months ago? That's a LONG time for Brooklynella to show up - usually, you see this in newly acquired wild clownfish, or tank raised clowns (like this one) that are newly acquired, but which had been housed with wild clownfish.
