ID Help please

I noticed a white hitchhiker on one of my snails and I have been unsuccessful in identifying. Can some one please buy me a clue? Pictures attached. Please let me know if this is a friend or foe.

Looks like a sponge.

Pineapple sponges.
Not bad unless they smother corals (block light).

Kinda cool to see pineapple sponges growing on a snail. Never seen that before!

Never seen one on a sponge before, very cool! Mobile filtration lol

Thanks. It has grown since the post. I'm keeping an eye on it. I'm worried it is going to harm the snail, but at the same time it's pretty cool to see.

Looks like sponge type hydroidish looking strange.
