Is this brook ?
This is in a reefer tank one of two clowns showing this and a hippo tang as well to lesser extent.
Fish has been looking like this for a week and still eating and swimming fine so I don't think it's velvet . Any advice please.
Thanks

Picture didn't upload for some reason... fixed. Thanks
I see secondary bacterial lesions. Often, mucus generally starts at the facial area as well as gills and spreads across the body producing lesions as it progresses often confused with ich and can turn into secondary bacteria. Other symptoms will be lethargic behavior, refusing to eat and heavy breathing from the mucus.
Start with a prolonged 60 minute bath of ruby rally pro then at a lower concentration in a quarantine tank. The longer the fish are exposed to the treatment, the more effective it will be at eliminating this issue.
Since a formalin solution is often not available for use, temporary relief can be achieved by giving the fish a FW bath or dip in water same temperature as display tank. Even though this treatment will not cure the disease, it can help to remove some of the parasites, as well as reduce the amount of mucus in the gills to assist with respiration problems.
Treatment is best done in a QT tank using either quick cure (more effective but now harder to find) or Ruby Rally Pro. Ruby takes a little longer and initial treatment generally takes 2-3 days to really start going to work.
With the advanced stage of this- I recommend immediate quarantine of all inhabitants and leaving display without fish for 4-6 weeks.

Protozoan infections on clownfish can be difficult to diagnose from just a photograph. I agree it isn't velvet. It could be late stage ich or it could be Brooklynella. Can you get a clear video taken under white light? More background about the tank might also help:

Here's a video owner shared.
Tank is a 120 gallon previously disease free. No quarantine of incoming fish as owners just puts them in his tank directly. No UV. Clown showing this abd hippo tang to much less extent other fish looking great. All fish eating normal

Ugh - it's still not 100% clear to me if this is ich or brook. The hepatus having spots steers me towards ich, and the lack of mucus coming off the clown also does. However, the stilted swimming motion of the clown and the small size of the spots leans towards brook.

Trouble is, those require two different treatments. If the person does not have a treatment tank, then the choice is more clear - Ruby Reef Rally Pro is effective against brook in many cases and it is reef safe. Ich treatment would require moving ALL of the fish to a treatment tank.
