I'm planning to start supplementing AFR with some kalk. Just need to get the doser set up and figure out what kalk to buy.

I would say it took roughly a week for them to get happy after the trauma I caused

I can't find the pictures of it shooting out the other tentacles. They really do twist to break off, water flow carries them off to some poor helpless victim.
