After the partially forced shutdown of my 320x60x60 cm tank, I decided to go ahead and build another one. For some time, I had been considering a peninsula tank, as it offers many advantages for a reef setup. Moreover, I found a suitable spot for it.

Compared to my previous tank, I want to make several significant changes—no SPS corals, only LPS (I still keep my LPS collection in temporary tank), maybe some non invasive soft.

Tank size - 190x85x55cm (75x33.5x21.5"), three viewing panels made of 12mm Optiwhite glass, a 15mm bottom, and an external overflow on the shorter side facing the wall.

The stand is made of steel, galvanized, and coated with powder paint.

I'll use most of the equipment from the old tank - 4x Tunze Stream 3, Tunze 9430 DC skimmer, Clarisea SK 5000, main return pump will be Sicce SDC 7.0 + Eheim 3400 as a spare one. Lights - 3x Radion XR15 blue Gen 5 + diy bars.

I'm also testing bare bottom tank (my first bb tank) in my current small LPS setup and I like it, I always had some issues even with small layer of sand (1" max) long term. So this one will be bare bottom - or better coral bottom eventually :)

I've also spent a lot of time thinking about Tunze Stream 3 pumps placement as I wanted to avoid having magnets on view panels. So I'm trying to create "tunze rocks copies" + another version which should allow me to place pumps to the rock scape - but still with option to remove it for the maintenance.

Thank you, I'll try make some, but tank is overcrowded and I have to keep moving corals to prevent stinging - and I'm not 100% succesfull, so I hope I'll be able to give them enough space again very soon + I'm planning to add more species, especially Euphyllia, Alveopora, Goniopora etc.

DIY Tunze rock, I'm using exactly the same o rings as original, last step is to glue tube to the rock.

I'll use reef bond to glue these to the rockscape.
