Hello fellow aquarists, I would to start a thread to post some pictures, videos and maybe answer some questions about our 600g fish only system.
We started the tank back in August 20, 2022. Our 90g reef tank was turned into a fish only system to house some fishes we wanted, so we planned and built this new system for them. Is a 96x36x36 custom made acrylic tank. The sump made by @LunaReef (hope I am tagging the right person/company) is 24w x 16h x 72L.
Filtration consists of 2 Clarisea 5000, a D11 Bubble Magus protein skimmer and a Coralife UV filter.
I am going to try to post some videos here, last time I tried I had some problems. If not you can follow me on Instagram: @my600gallonlife and see all the videos and pictures.

This is a picture of when we first setup the stand.

The first delivery attempt, this took months to get into my apartment.

Stairs was too risky, lets use the elevator!

Barely fit in the elevator, we are SO lucky!
Success!!

Two things: First, stairs - surely you jest!? Second, apartment - you must have a really nice landlord, building management and/or condo board! Best of luck!
I am the apt owner, is a high rise strong building.
I have some pictures that I can share from the setup of the tank, also some videos but I don’t know if videos can be uploaded to the post.

Filling up the tank took a long time. I was getting desperate and started calling all my LFS asking for availability and how much would be to come to my house and fill up the tank. The quotes were outrageous! $2-$2.50 per gallon of saltwater plus the hourly service fee. Too much so I waited like a champ for my RO to fill it up.

The first fish was the blue damsel, then the blue spotted puffer, the red tooth trigger fish and my baby “Mango” the puffer fish.
