Trying to buy plumbing parts. Which bulkhead type?

Original kit planned for duros with the return coming from the bottom next to the drain. Will be going Herbie and using both those holes for drains. Will do return over the tank. (It will be hidden at some point). I want rigid plumbing where I can.

So, bulkhead type? Slip X Slip or slip to threaded?

I like slip/slip. Glue outside, inside pipe- no solvent
