So I definitely made a mistake adding a diamond goby to my tank. This is completely my fault, I didn’t research this guy before I got him. Really worried about the rock shifting and falling and breaking the glass. He needs to go. Can anyone give me a suggestion on how to get him out without breaking down the whole tank? Thank you in advance.!

How big is this tank, and how much rock are we talking about? Have you thought about using some epoxy in between your rocks to help them stay in place? This is easy to find, reef safe, and works underwater with wet rock:

There's other epoxy brands to try too, that's just an example.

Good luck!

It’s only a 40 gal with enough rock and critters to make this an all day event. I’m just being lazy here. I like the fish trap mention above. If my kids saw me drop a hook into the tank I think they would disown me.

A Fish trap is an option. there’s a few videos how to make them, or you can also buy them on amazon and different places. I would try getting him with the net first though, some fish look like they are really hard to catch but are actually very easy.
That fish is faster than an ex wife on a dating app. I’ve tried the net, no luck. I’m gonna look into this trap you mentioned, could be fun. He’s really the only sand sifter in the tank so it could work
