I have 3 from this brand also, they usually have the best prices for 300w and under units

300w battery generator for 179, 30$ coupon and there is always a coupon, so 150$ for 300w.

25$ Less than the other one and 50 more watt hours

Just want to some knowledge and experience

Thank you for sharing options. You probably already know that I'm not a fan of lithium, but LiFePO4/LFP...I'll take them all day long!

Here's another option: https://www.ebay.com/itm/144819918766?epid=21058112432

Many other EcoFlow options available for lots of money off. This isn't sponsored. EF doesn't know I exist.

That’s a good price for the refurb ecoflow. There’s a lot of good refurb ones. I might be buying a big one lol

I’m a big fan of battery tech. LiFePO4 is great. I upgraded my kids power wheels jeep to LiFePO4. Runs for days now lol

I post this as it is a rip off. Allowing a company to do this justifies them doing the same on lights, pumps, and every other component b/c people like you will post here defending it as ok. As corporations continue to buy up other companies, we are seeing less and less competition in the market place also fueling costs.

As for corals and such, yes if I see someone looking for something and I know it can be picked up cheaper, i post about it within the local forums. Someone looking for the torch the store is selling for $300ph, I will post the hobbyist selling it for $100. That $250pp GMK zoa, here's a hobbyist selling for $50pp. Your $200 acro, here's a hobbyist selling for $50. I will look out for other hobbyists as we shouldn't be priced out of the hobby by turning a blind eye to marketing/sales tactics.
So paying an extra $60 for app control, integration into an ecosystem of decent products, warranty, and customer support is a ripoff? I'd rather pay the little extra then than get no back up from a no name company even if it's the same hardware.

No thanks. I’ll save my money and use the non buggy inline controller. As for app control it’s not full control. There doesn’t seem to be any integration. See this review. It’s the same functionality as the inline remote. Feed mode or constant

“I bought this to add into a vacant outlet on my AIO. This being Mobius compatible I thought this would be awesome to pair with my existing MP10 schedule. Setup was super easy but I was immediately disappointed to see all Mobius and this pump can do are the standard modes (constant and feed). No parent/child or Ecotech flow options. I thought for the for the extra $$$ over the other brand of identical pumps this would deliver something more than an app toy”

This is not a product or technology they created themselves, like mp40 through-glass power heads. This is not something they made and now another company is copying. This is a foreign brand pump, that they buy cheap, rebranded, and made an app enable/disable feed mode, and marked up the price significantly. No thank you

I’ll buy MP pumps and pay the premium, but something like this, nope

Hi Jim, I noticed you have mentioned Ecoflow in a few places already and I'm considering using a delta 2 to backup my Neptune Apex setup. Using the lighter port to power the 12v modules and a 12-24v boost converter to power the COR20 I use for return.
I have noticed that the Apex gets power from the EB832 as well as other modules like the aquabus coming from the COR20. Wonder if you know if there are any problems to consider when trying to power the Apex that way?

Correction, the COR20 won't power the Apex over aquabus :( just tried it out. It was the aux AC port that is used to sense power outages that was powering my apex when I unplugged the eb832 power.

Hit up Richard Ross somewhere other than here. He has his Apex backed up to battery, and given his experience, he'll be way more helpful than I.

I have the Axis because I wanted a compact reactor pump that would give me the ability to shut it off remotely (and as I'm typing this I now realize that I'm an idiot because their app only works off bluetooth in proximity)

Anyway, it starts off great and then in just a few weeks has massively reduced flow output

I wouldn't recommend it. It seems loaded with issues.

I will say this, not sure if I updated the group.

Hygger, reached out to me on amazon after my complaint about noise and sent me a new pump.

It is DEAD silent, I mean I only hear water.

I can not say enough good things. The control box stays on the desired setting even after a smart switch turns it off (feedings, water changes, ect.). I would 100% recommend this pump.

To update this thread for anyone that may read it in the future, I have had my AXIS 20 fail twice in the course of three months. The pump will start throttling on and off and no longer be able to be run at 100%. Then it decreases to 95, 90, etc until I have to run it at 70% to keep it running. Then it starts flashing red and dies. Right now I have the replacement pump the sent me in a bucket of clean RODI. It is perfectly clean but keeps saying "Pump obstructed, try cleaning the pump"

I wouldn't recommend these to anyone. They are awful. Going to try a mighty jet mini next.

I've had the same issue. Does yours start throttling? Mine throttle on and off and then default to super low flow. Then they give the flashing red light and say they are obstructed even when perfectly clean. I'm on my second pump. AI keeps sending my firmware updates that do nothing. I'm going to ask for them to refund me next, and try a mighty jet. The AXIS is terribly unreliable.

It looks like a pump designed to pump out a 5 gallon jug, to use a jug as a an ATO or reservoir for water changes

Are people actually using this kind of pump as their return pumps

In their actual tanks?

Yes. To me it seems like you said. A utility pump to pump out everything you can from a bucket. Or when emptying a sump or tank. And it’s being marketed/used as a return pump for some reason

I guess to allow your tank to evaporate more, and let that return section water level go to .5” instead of 1.5-2”

It is for AIO with tight compartments. The upright design uses less space.

I suggest this instead
Slightly longer but it’s less wide. And more power. Comes with controller. I put pics of both to compare as an example

Just wonder if it is possible to connect the AI axis controller to the ZKJS pump. If the Axis pump hardware is a copy then it should work with the ZKJS pump?
