Finally got set up, about 95% there. Got the Opus G2 300. When I was deciding I really couldn't find many people with the Nyos opus tanks. Coming from a waterbox cube 20 (3 years running) transfered everything over to new tank. So far I like it, just with the plumbing wasn't pre glued. Equipment i had and some new.
Hydros X4 & XP8
Nyos TORQ G2 (small)
AI Prime 16 HD x2
Axis 90 retrun pump
MP 10 x2
Simplicity 4-Head Dosing Pump
Classic 150 INT skimmer
Tunze 3155 ATO
Reef Factory Smart Roller S
Smart Power Strip Useelink Wifi
Intllab magnetic stirrer
Tunze 5074 dispenser
I know the skimmer is overkill, but the price was cheaper than the 110 on coralvue website and I couldn't pass it up. Still working on hooking up dosing( never had a dosing pump before) the carpet I've had for 2 years( yeah I know the WB cube was too small for him) anyway I hope my set up can answer questions for people looking or deciding on a new tank.and thanks for looking.

A lot of nice things in your setup! I have both of those skimmers - it sounds like you have an excuse to feed heavy and keep your bio load up. Congratulations on the adventure!

Thanks, I did budget shop though. I've been buying here and there when I found things on sale long before I ordered the tank. I don't like paying full price, lol.

Aquaillumination Axis 90 sump pump is the worst pump I've ever purchased. It constantly speeds up and slows down periodically throughout the day, multiple times now it has just shut off by itself. I've researched this already and seen other people have the same problem. I've already reached out to the vender but I'm sure I'm over the return time frame. I should have researched before I purchased it. I've already ordered another pump. Tunze 1073.020 as I have multiple tunze products and I know they stand behind what they make and will help you. I've also reached out to aquaillumination with no response. Lesson learned go with the manufacturer I know and trust.

Am I being paranoid? I've owned a lot of tanks and different stands, never had an issue like this. When I set it up I leveled the stand. Just noticed this. The left and right side you can see the weight on the mat, the center has the gap. I don't really feel like this is normal. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Mine doesn’t do that.
Yeah, I don't know what's going on with my stand. On the left side the seam where the top and side connect doesn't look good. Everything was tight when I put it together. I'm taking it down tomorrow. I work away from home and can't take a chance on a failure. The sagging i just found. The seam not tight ( with a flashlight i can see the cam screws) bad i know. But I already ordered a custom stand weeks ago. Will be here tomorrow

Has Nyos support had anything to say?

I didn't contact them, I already know I'll be redirected to BRS, (I had a question before about it and that's what happened) I'm not being negative about them or BRS, but I know how customer support will go. If you look up in my thread about the problem with the axis 90 pump(I did contact customer support about that) and no outcome for the issue. So I'm not wasting my time with this. It's costly but I'm fixing the problem myself.
