That's the only thing I could think it is ,thoes are the only fish you have 2 of , unless it's filter media like stated before...

Assuming it is clownfish eggs, is there any issue when them hanging in the sand?

They won't Hatch will they?

Yea if they are eggs they will rot or get eaten laying in the sand like that ,usually the parents lay them in a cluster and keep watch , I know fish can sometimes be irresponsible on their first attempt to lay eggs
