Thank you for your reply! I don't know, I tried for hours last night and can't get anything that doesn't just look like a pile of rocks. I have had marine tanks going back to the 1980's, I have never put any real thought into building an aquascape, I just pile rocks, so maybe that's what I'll go with here.looks nice to me, i mean its your opinion
I'm also not happy with the Marco Rocks shelf rock I purchased for this. It's not really flat and doesn't stack the way I thought it would.
I did completely rewatch the BRS videos on building an NSA 'scape. I'm not one who thinks those NSA 'scapes look great (no offense to anyone, remember, I'm a rock stacker) and I didn't want to do all that here, but I'm starting to think such a scape would be best for this tank for the flow. I'm trying to keep all my circ pumps on the left side and back of the tank, which is less than ideal I know. I think one of these minimalist 'scapes may be best here for flow concerns.
Last night I learned that you can glue wet rock using regular (non gel) super glue and baking soda. I have a pile of rocks in a 10 gallon tank that was my invert QT tank previously. It's a mix of dry rocks and live TBS base rock, it's all been running together for well over a year now. I may try to glue a fancy NSA scape using this wet rock. It would be silly not to use this rock as it's well "seasoned".
Thanks for your help!
Sorry to everyone to be posting so much about this, but I just can't get this right. Grrrrrr
Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions here!
