Municipal water is 35-37, 0-2 after the RO membrane(which is overdue to be replaced and 0 after the 2 stage DI. Resin lasts a long time for me.

140 at tap, 3 after membrane. I'm looking at a giant freshwater lake in Michigan in the U.S.. You could say it is "Great". ;)
I take it you don’t live in flint or Benton harbor lol !! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
I remember when water coming out of the tap was safe and taste good in Michigan. Today I’m not sure there is any place that I would drink out of the tap . I still have family in Michigan from down river to Lansing and places in between and I’m not sure about some but most filter their water now . Here in Florida I’ve always filtered the drinking water and or buy bottled . The water table here isn’t that far from the aquifer . Not much to filter it naturally . I don’t trust what makes it into aquifer so for my likes I filter .

I'm curious what TDS readings other people have on their tap and RO membrane.
Please post your city (or nearest city for privacy) and your TDS from your tap and after your RO membrane. Bonus for pics of your RODI system. I'll start:

I live in the Phoenix valley. City water. It's currently 586 out of the tap, 10 after RO membrane, 0 after DI.

Cool thread!!!

I’m in southeastern Wisconsin tap is about 500-550 and settles at a steady 5 out of a 400gpd membrane.

We don't have cold water here in AZ in the summer. That's not even a joke.
Been there during the summer and you guys don’t have cold/cool water in the pools . Who needs a hot tub lol !! :D And their should be a billboard sign when you enter the state to remind you during the summer not to touch your car door handles with bare hands unless your intent is to get third degree burns:oops: . You guys get 110 degrees in the shade during the summer yikes

I don’t have a tds meter on my tap water at all times, but the last time I checked it was 110 in Charleston, WV. After my membranes is 4 and after my di is 0.

Here is an older picture of my messy setup. Since this picture I have actually added a third membrane.
What's this, and what does it do?

What's this, and what does it do?
It’s just a home made micro controller that controls my rodi. It turns my rodi on and off based on float switches in my container, it turns on my booster pump, bypasses my di for the first few minutes, then every half hour of runtime it flushes the membranes.
Normally these thing would be put into a small project box but I’ve left this on this breadboard for the last few years.

280 TDS well water near Gainesville, FL
12 after RO
0 after DI until I exhausted the resin! That happened very quickly, probably due CO2 in well water.
