Christmas in January!

Received my box about 40 minutes ago. It was a combination of sale purchases and auction items. It's the coldest week of the year in CT, snowing and sleeting outside. I've been anxiously watching the Fedex delivery window go later and later, but they made it through.

I met the delivery person at the door, opened up the box and took a quick heat pack and frag bag temp reading before laying them out.




A bit later, they were in the tank!

First my 3 plate fungia. For some reason, I really like they guys. Their feeding response is really cool, watching them pull in the food so quickly. The left two and top one are from this order.


My first Palys, left most. It was open in the bag, amusingly:


Finally, my baby jawbreaker you can barely see, some Zoas that are closed up on the right, and my Gift, the chalice frag (Raja Rampage?)!



Overall great experience. Two follow ups I'll be messaging about shortly, one is I never followed up about a double shipping charge between the sale and the auction and the other is winning my first torch as part of the photo contest in this event!

This is now the second box I've gotten from POTO/Reefnbid, and once again I am very happy with how everything went, size of frags, representation, and quality.

Opened the box and the heat pack was sandwiched between the box opening and the peanuts .... No were neat the frag bags. My SPS water was very cold. I'm afraid they won't make it. They floated in the sump for 35 min

That' actually normal. You wouldn't want the heat packs touching your frags. Unfortunately, that's the risk with shipping in winter times. My package arrived later than expected too (3:15pm). Make sure you email POTO with any issues. They took care of me and I am sure they will take care of you. That's the difference between good vendors and bad vendors. I had shipping issues with other vendors where they said it's out of their controls and I lost $$$.

Very true. This is the third box I've received since the beginning of January and while everything has came in water around 55°F, everything for the most part is doing great.

As for the box from POTO, my top heat pack was 96°F - if that was touching my frags I don't know if any of them would be doing okay.
