Their cute but I just hate things with pinchers.
Crawdads still bug me after a traumatic fishing experience with an older brother xD

I would imagine there are some higher end flake foods now a days in which the first ingredient isnt fish meal or any other kind of garbage but still. That overflow and flakes just seem like a terrible idea

I completely get it. I'm just this year getting over touching or holding things that are tiny and move after a spider incident lol. The emerald crab was my first favorite in the tank.

I have never feed mine fkakes. They have always love New Life Spectrum Thera A formula and mysis and I just stuck with it.
