Hi all, long time lurker and have been planning on entering the saltwater realm after years of freshwater (both low and high tech). While I know larger tanks are more forgiving for beginners, an approximately 40 gallon tank was best for me right now. While I have long been considering a Waterbox for some time, I think the newly released Red Sea Nano G2 XL works well for my first tank with the plan to upgrade to a larger tank in the next year or two.

The Red Sea website says the dimensions are 19.7" (L) x 23.6" (W) x 19.7" (H), though I believe the width may include the sump as well. I would love your criticisms for a mixed reef tank, see some pictures of a scape I've been working on below. As it currently stands, the scape is about 9 inches tall, so I should have some room to build this taller. I should have room surrounding the rockwork to clean the glass, though it might be tight in a couple spots. Thanks in advance for your help!
