Hey guys. I have a BRS 7 stage RODI filter and I changed the resin in one of my canisters today because it was due. It was the one hooked up to line 2 on my tds meter. I switched on the meter after filling it back up and flushing the system.
Line one read 31tds, line 2 read 0 but line 3 read 3 tds which is my out line. How is that possible? I also have a silicone buster after line 3 before it goes into the brute. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Happy reefing.

Could it just need to be flushed longer?

Looks like your first and second canisters are both filled with cation. Did you accidentally put cation in instead of anion? Looking pretty purple to be anion resin

That's mixed bed and contains both. That stuff is just fine. Might just need to rinse the new canister more. I usually go at least 5gal.

So I couldn’t get the tds past 2ppm so I changed the 2 carbon filters and the sediment filter. I’ve flushed roughly 30 gallons of water thru the system and it will not drop below 1 ppm. If I hit the flush valve it will hit 0 for a second but then goes back to 1 ppm and stays there. I’m at a loss. The only thing I can think of is maybe the resin in the last chamber is old and the color changing resin is malfunctioned, or my tds meter is trash.
In reads 11ppm, line 2 still 0 and out reads 1 ppm.
