I tried! Not much info either. If it's the same as a razor tang maybe try using that name and finding some information. Cool fish though
Ok! So they are reef safe? What should I use to treat internal parasites?Their behavior, needs, and demeanor are comparable to the Zebrasoma genus. Prionurus species get a little larger than Zebrasomas. Treat for internal parasites, as they frequently come in with them. They aren't as common as many of the tangs in the trade and can are reef safe.

Sorry for all the questions. Do you consider them hardier than the yellow kole tangs? Thanks I cant keep a yellow kole tang, even if I qt them. They get ick and die. Not sure why.Yes, they are reef safe.
Use prazipro to treat for parasites.
They either have the ick parasite when you buy them or and most likely this or both but definitely this since you have introduced it in some way, your tank is infected with ich. Since it was in there with the infection. To remove the parasite from the tank you have to go fishless for about 2 mths. Thank you. The only fish that gets ick are the tangs. Everything else looks fine. Never had problem when I first intruduced them in my dt. The tangs are fine for a couple weeks than they starts with ick. I have fairy wrasses, leopard wrasses, foxface, clowns and some more..... No ick ever. Weird. I will look in to it.sorry that did not come out the way I meant it.
