I went down the rabbit hole, until Coral RX release the "blend" they use or someone tests it.

Cajeput Oil Composition vs. Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oils are extracted from Melaleuca alternifolia while cajeput is from Melaleuca Cajuputi or Melaleuca Leucadendra ( var. cajuputi).

Cajeput contains higher concentrations of 1,8 Cineole (Eucalyptol), limonene and alpha-Terpineol. Tea tree oil contains more Terpinen-4-ol and gamma-Terpinene. Therefore, cajeput has some properties similar to those found in Eucalyptus (from the Eucalyptol) and Lemon (from the limonene).

Compound makeup of Cajeput Oil:	Compounds makeup of Tea Tree Oil:
1,8-Cineole 44.8%– 60.2% Alpha-Terpineol 5.9%– 12.5% Limonene 4.5%– 8.9% Beta-Caryophyllene 3.8%– 7.6%	Terpinen-4-ol 37.0%– 46.9% Gamma-Terpinene 10.0%– 28.0% 1,8-Cineole 3.0%– 3.6% Para-Cymene 0.5%– 12.0% Alpha-Terpinene 7.9%– 10.4%

Are you dose, test, dose test.... I did that for like 2 weeks to figure out time when corals consume the most ( during day when lights are peak) and not so much at night after lights out

I’ve been testing specifically at 2pm daily for a week because of the new corals and whatnot. Also due to adding fresh salt water. I mean. My coral load isn’t huge but I guess 8ml of alk really is still a small amount and I shouldn’t be shy to put it there.

That said. What used to be my big original dose was at 4:30pm. I got this reading today at 7:30 because work was crazy but that means all my alk for the day was put in besides midnights 1ml

Also the good news is no I’m done buying coral for a month or two. No more additions. Time to focus on gear anyway. So this is prime time for me and my training wheels for dosing.

Well everything is in place. Frag rack has a bunch in it while I figure out placement. Ended up with some duplicates too! Oops. Stuff is still waking up but looks good!

Could you guys look at the Zoa frag close. Is that aiptasia? I might need to do a triple check of that one. Something sticking up out of it

Also the Gem is beautiful. Cannot believe it was $199. Came fat and healthy. Loookijg for food right away. Super happy!

Also the Gem is beautiful. Cannot believe it was $199. Came fat and healthy. Loookijg for food right away. Super happy!
