I mean. I know they’re not for the inexperienced but the only way to become experienced is trying and trying again and maintaining tank stability… I should talk but I’m in same spot as you.
I just want to be great w/ acros and see them thrive. I mean I want that with every coral...

It's a multitude of things but a mature biome goes a long way. Don't get it twisted though...there will always be a random loss in the acro game....sometimes it's for reasons unknown to us yet

It took me several times before i could get acros to stay alive let alone do well grow. Biggest thing for me has been stable alk the last few month. Switched to AFR from dosing kalk in ato
I do have AFR but my alk has been high lately around 9.5ish and I did a water change now at 8.8 so we will see

This is the best and craziest I’ve ever seen it. I see it every day. This time I was taken back and had to just stare for a few minutes. It was bigger than I’ve ever seen it and a perfect dome shape. I didn’t even know it can do this. Maybe from my new coral food?

@SBB Corals so you have any knowledge on how to get plate corals to bud? Any secrets? I know the diaseris plates split on their own, but these guys grow tiny buds that fall off. Any idea how to trigger that or speed it up ?
I honestly don't alot of time when they die they grow back into baby buds
