I have experimented with running whites about about 2 hours a day and there has been improvement.....so I need whites. True uv is a tough road on ledsJust replace those whites with uv. Who needs white

Cheap black boxes that turn off and on with an intensity adjustment and no ramps. What you running?
Finally someone looking into LEDs and automated testing for growing coral! I think there’s something thereI guess I’ll break the news here also. I have a wholesaler whose owner has become a friend of mine over the years, I have given them some tips / suggestions to expand their business, some of them they have taken and actually been successfully with. At least 50% of my tank coral is from them.
They have extremely healthy corals and great photos so naturally I inquired about their lighting. At first they did not give much detail but recently they have told me that they have been making diy led fixtures for many years, and they latest version they have over 20 tanks in their coral warehouse and are very happy with the results. They have taken the fixture to frag shows and customers have come up and asked how their coral looks so vibrant, they say there is no secret, it’s just the light. This is in comparison to all the other booths running radions
A single light covers 24x24 at half the cost of a radion and capable of double the par. I suspect their is some strong use of uv and near uv spectrum thrown in.
I will be getting two of these lights to replace my photon 48 and I will be testing them out over my 75g display tank and providing feedback. The only hold up currently is they do not have a tank mount, only hanging and rimless, and I have a frame.
A custom mount is being looked into for me. If needed I will diy an extruded aluminum stand that can rest on my frame and the lights can hang from it.
VintageReefer is actively in communication / planning with two companies on the forefront of reefing tech and I am willing to invest the money and to take the risks to bring products to market that are both better, and cheaper, than what’s available today. We. Deserve. Better.

who is saving up to wait to purchase stuff for black friday?
Let see when my 2 boxes cone todayDon't know if I have any more room?
Will wait to see the Fire you throw down and decide if existing pieces need to move out?
I love my sbb acans. More coming todayI am - thinking of trying out some acros and really love my freebie acan so maybe more of those
I don't. I temp float, dip/srcub, and mount. If i get a wild piece, I would put lower par and gradually move it upFor all you acro pros - do you still acclimate them at a lower light level and slowly move them up or just put them where you want them when you get them?
I would burn those 3 w out but the 5w are cheaper now and you can run them at half capacity.
You’re a man of many talents aren’t you.I would burn those 3 w out but the 5w are cheaper now and you can run them at half capacity.
When you grow up broke you have to be. One reason why I am where I am today. I won't buy it if I can make it.You’re a man of many talents aren’t you.
