I got one these guys 3 or so weeks ago, definitely closer to 1.5", very happy.
I'm tempted to get one for my 40, but that just leads to another fish order, then I have to make shipping worth it, more and more fish..

First Ocean water harvest was a success
1000076257.jpg

An EV sure wasnt going to lug 2200lbs on its axle but the RAM thoroughly enjoyed it.

Boosted mag and some other traces. Did a 10 gal WC mixed half with RSCP over the weekend. Tonight did 5 gal just ocean water in each tank.

The savings are gonna be yuge

You can’t just show us the end result. How did you get the water into the truck. How or where are you storing it. Have my interest.

I put a 2k watt inverter in the ram. Used some beast of an amazon pump with a 25ft hose and extension cord. Went to the local inlet at close to midnight on a ripping incoming tide. Placed the other tote in the garage and filled that tote from the back of the truck. Goal is to eventually just do auto WC but even lugging a brute or 5 gal bucket is alot less of a production than mixing.

Well. dang. The ocean needs more
Mag. Let’s dose it. That’s cool. So no real pollutants picked up? Guess you can run carbon for that
Its the ocean man. You cant pollute it. We have a 5knot gulf stream within eye sight. I ran the water through two filter socks when moving it to the other container - wasnt a speck of anything.

Yeahhhh. tell that to Exxon and deepwater horizon bro lol. On a regular day. I suppose. Then agian if it was a 3rd world country I wouldn’t trust the water there either.

Yeah i guess i shouls have qualified that with how nuts florida is with water and waste management, notably south florida. The gulf side i wouldnt do it because thats stagnant and they have the red tide issues. We dont have any oil rigs. With that 5knot north current and the millions of gallons hauling butt through the inlet, pretty low chance its able to be contaminated short of an actual catastrophe.
