NO
They are about the same as jebao, some look identical, others have controllers like other Chinese no names.Morning everyone. Anyone here have experience with Hygger power heads/ wave makers?
In your opinion what gives better flow? The wave makers or typical powerheads? My tank is the standard 180 gal. 6x2x2They are about the same as jebao, some look identical, others have controllers like other Chinese no names.
I've bought a few and they worked fine. Price is usually more than jebao.
Agreed
Yeah, I got rid of it as soon as I could. The app sucked and the powerhead didn't do what I was hoping forMorning everyone. Anyone here have experience with Hygger power heads/ wave makers?
A combination, gyres work great for giving a nice wide flow through the tank, but rockwork and the like can create dead spots. In your opinion what gives better flow? The wave makers or typical powerheads? My tank is the standard 180 gal. 6x2x2
Overall you will have fewer devices using gyres, and maybe a powerhead or two.In your opinion what gives better flow? The wave makers or typical powerheads? My tank is the standard 180 gal. 6x2x2
Love that first Acan, reminds me of Lucky Charms cereal for some reason...I missed posting few pieces as I couldn't remember which one I bought
Would love to hear others opinions. Especially on quantity and placement. I figured I would need 2 gyres for sure.A combination, gyres work great for giving a nice wide flow through the tank, but rockwork and the like can create dead spots.
In that size of a tank I would definitely use gyres, throw a powerhead where you need the extra flow.
@billyocean is setting up a large tank about that size and is using the largest jebao gyres. Let him chime in on this.
@Thuan loves her gyres too, she has a 180g I believe.
Each tank is different. For my 180 lps/soties/nems/torches, I use Jebao SCP 180 only on 2 pwr on one end and an MP40 on the other. For my 65 sps heavy, I have MP40 and Octo pulse 2+. The Jebao are beasts as have used all of them SCP 90, 120, 150, 180. I also like the Jebao SLW30. It's a nero 5 knock off, but it workA combination, gyres work great for giving a nice wide flow through the tank, but rockwork and the like can create dead spots.
