Hey all,

Recently purchased a used Aquatop 12 gallon long. Dinensions are roughly 36x9x9”. I’m gonna call this a sliver chip that I discovered after I had already purchased the tank. It’s in the back right corner. What do you guys think? Gotta get a new tank? Think im goood? Currently being leak tested .

If I see it correctly, the tank bottom fits internally inside the sidewalls (?), and the chip is on the outside of a sidewall. Therefore I would think it is currently strong enough, but my worry is that any cracks starting at the chip site, may propogate, and they can be hard to see. They fill chips in car windscreens with cyanoacrylate to try to prevent this happening.

Yeah it is on the outside bottom of the long 36" pane of glass. I'm worried it might not be strong enough either :/.
