It doesn't appear to have red at all

The older version reads differently.

I wonder if the 470 will give more of that pop that we like?
It's definitely noticeable on the Smatfarm G6 when I crank the channel with 470nm up. I can tell the difference compared to my other nano light that is heavier in 450nm and UV. I'd probably supplement with an led bar to eliminate shading on my SPS though.

I am going to be using 4 units, 2 with 470 and two without. Will see if some pictures can come out decent enough to tell. Hope to have them installed in the canopy tomorrow

They were about 27 inches from height of the light to the surface of sand bed. I no longer have this light.
Hello, if you don't mind me asking is there any particular reason you don't use this light any more?

I won’t speak for anyone else, but I still use this light. Smarten is great. I had some saltwater damage to one from spilling water in it and the fan stopped. I contacted Mataram and they sent me a new fan for free. They are really good like that.

I ended up upgrading to their beeer version that has a moonlight and then dark period which I prefer. It’s fantastic. Corals grow quick and love this light. I can’t recommend it enough.

Thanks for the feedback. Is the upgraded one the 140w version?

No, it was more in how the interface worked. I have two 95w over my 60g. This was a 5w jump from the previous 90w version. It actually burned my monti from that 5w increase but he is recovering now and I have it at full power after dialing it down for a month.

The 140w is probably great too but depends on what you need as far as height. My lights are only about 6” above the water so kinda tight. If they were higher, maybe I’d get the higher wattage.

Thanks. I actually have two that I bought a couple years ago that I never have used that I'm thinking about setting up and I believe mine are the 90w version

I just didn't like the color, couldnt get it to pop. It was more purple instead of blue no matter the settings. I added a light bar supplement from ali express but still weren't satisfy. Other than that, they're fantastic lights.
