What are your favorite aquascaping styles? I like styles that keep things off the sand but give plenty of room for coral mounting. Floating scapes or bonsai styles are always good for this. Check out this scape by @Rodneyri that inspires me.

Bump!

After almost 3 months of setting up my tank, I'm a few days from aquascaping. Would love to see and get inspired from great aquascapes!

I’ve had my 125g for 9 months now. I have two tangs and they love going through caves and small spaces. Every 3-4 months I’m redoing the landscape. It’s like making art in a way. It seems the fish enjoy exploring it too. This pic is part of the tank. I like caves, a sense of depth and I’m covering the back wall with coral so it sways back and fourth. It’s like a wall/carpet from the 70’s Austin Powers, yeah baby!!

Got to say that I hate most peoples aquascapes (including mine). I really aspire to a very natural reef look, and that is hard to get. I really liked my current tank when it was first setup, but as stuff has grown it has become crowded and cluttered and I like it far less.

With a ten foot length, this was discussed and agreed with myself and two local club members ( also R2R member).

Floating /bonsai style is gorgeous. I’d love to give that a try. I need to research how to go about this
