L for some help. I added a Pentair 18w UV to my tank to help fight Dino’s. The water and stuff looks good now after running it but it’s causing huge temperature issues. I was told to run 24/7 which is fine other than my temp steadily increasing. I went from 78 to almost 82 in 24 hours. Had to shut it off as well as my heaters to cool tank back down. It’s rated for up to 60g and I have a 26g tank.

Is there any recommendations for run time or something that will help me here?

This is a AIO tank so not much rear sump room. I have the inlet return under the filter cup and it lets back out in return chamber.

Not sure if it’s heating up from the bulb or if it’s recirculating the water in the rear sump so much that’s why it’s heating up.

All my apex probes and INKBIRD probes are back there and getting similar readings. Put them in display to confirm and was still just as high.

Put a fan on your tank, and also depending on what dino strain you have, you can run the UV at night time only.
