I recommend these as the most accurate (in my experience)Hanna for calcium, alk, and phos. Red Sea for mag and salifert for nitrate
I've had good luck with Redsea and Mag in the past. I may try the salifert calcium to see what the difference is with the hanna. I know it's not that high, but I believe it to be in a good spot with the rest of my numbers. That doesn't surprise me; I have nothing to consume at a high level. I will finish the fall semester after this week so I will get my auto water change going after that. That will help keep it going for a while.I recommend these as the most accurate (in my experience)
Hanna:
- Alkalinity
-PO4
-NO3
Salifert:
-Calcium
-Magnesium
Just finished mine up too! Excited for the breakNothing like the relief when you finish your last final of the semester. Now, I have a few weeks off and some time to play with tanks.
Yeah, I have to make myself slow down during the last one I'm so excited to be done. What are you going for?Just finished mine up too! Excited for the break

Let me know how the blue spot does!Few updates. The aqua SD order came in, and everything looked good. They even sent a free frag, I have no idea what it is, some kind of acro, I'm guessing. The GSP hasn't opened up yet, and the Zoa aren't happy. Everything else seems to be loving life at the moment. Also, I made a random trip to the new LFS and got a sail fin blenny. That one was always in the plan, my wife loves them. However, I hadn't planned on a blue spotted jaw fish, but they had 5 of them and they were a ton of fun to watch, so we now have one. Also, dropped another pic of the clowns, they like to be front and center.
I'll keep it updated for sure. He's such a neat fish to watch—always watching everything.Let me know how the blue spot does!
I really want to get one for my tank.
No the DMP-10 is fine. I’m running both at 50% and it’s more than enough on the cube. I think if I went bigger I’d just have to turn it down more. How do you like the DMP-10? I’m setting up a 24” cube for sps in a few months and am trying to decide on what size DMP. If you had to do it again, would you pick a bigger model?
Lets go! It's nice to see another CO2 scrubber out there lol. I will suggest being very careful with the 3D printed piece though.Got my co2 scrubber and my fish of hex piece to recirculate. Going to take a little redneck engineering to get it hooked up to the skimmer but nothing a little glue won’t fix.
