The 5 foot build… It’s happening!!

If you’ve ever photographed tiny wrasses you’ll know how much they love to just dart around. Here’s the best photo of the DT so far.

Came home with a new coral! This time, a Hellfire Torch. I love how hypnotic this one is with the perfect spread of gold, red/brown, and green.

And I’m hoping to move over the tiger hammer soon… unfortunately one slight issue occurred with the Orange Hammer Colony as it had BJD. I’m hoping I’ve caught it in time and was able to prevent it any further but I did lose 2 heads - 1 already died and 1 was dying.
Hopefully it survives and grows again.

Well, some more hammers have been moved from the nano. There is now only 2 left in the nano;
The Orange Colony and the Rainbow Splatter. These two have been left in the tank simply to recover more.

And I think I have to admit it, I’m addicted.
I’ve come home with yet another wrasse, this time a sand sleeper of the Anampses genus.

Citric acid arrived today so my plan is to throw my wave makers into it. Currently have the nano’s wave maker in citric acid and once that’s done I’ll put this tank’s into it.

Well, it’s been a while since seeing this guy open in the 4’ tank but since being in this 5’ tank he seems to love it! He opens at least twice a week currently.

It’s the Chilli Coral, well half of the colony I fragged, the other half is on the opposite side of the tank but also opens every so often.

She’s up! Surprisingly early too. Not a good photo at all but it’s the best of the ones I managed. Hopefully she’s out later as well.
