I use Dow Corning 111 O-Ring Valve Silicone Lubricant & Sealant Scuba. I keep a 2 oz container in my dive bag. Works amazingly well for home aquarium use as well.

All I know, after lurking silently in the background this entire time, is that someone needs to start selling snap-on emblems and vortech decals on Etsy for all the harbor freight and jebao peeps.

Don't need them, although my coworker did buy a Cornwell roll around and put snapon emblem on it to match his box.

Funniest part is the holes for the emblems pins lined up perfectly.

Apologies, I do not use it on suction cups. I do, however, use it on my skimmer's o-ring that is on the collection cup neck. I apply a tiny amount about every other month. I also keep it in my scuba bag in case I have an emergency o-ring replacement, etc.

I was hesitant for a few months. Finally ordered a sample. After the service and quality of the product I ordered another 3. Plan to order around 8 more of those . Definitely worth the gamble I thought I was taking.

The only thing I've found really missing in the app is the ability to set a maximum speed during random mode.

Nope. No cap on the max in random mode. But, what they do offer are more sizes and flowrates in each pump line. So you can actually better pick a pump with a max flow in the range you need it... If you don't use random mode, none of it matters anyway.

Random means just that on the jebao. It ramps through all the 4 other settings and at random speeds.

That's on the controller so I expect the app to do the same.
