If I were a betting man, I'd say purely speculative. But it doesn’t mean there's not truth to it.Is that confirmed?

Why else would RB take down their review for legal reasons? Is that confirmed?
That's unfortunate. The enemy in this hobby (and most things) is ignorance. I admire companies like BRS and Tidal Gardens that have sought to educate to grow the hobby, instead of gatekeeping to maximize profit margins. Salem reviewing a readily available product that's generating a lot of interest is a good thing.
Since the buy-out BRS feels so different... they are my last choice to purchase things I need now where they used to be first without question. Ecotech is following the same playbook. Disappointing. If there's a legal complaint, go public with it.
I have no idea and would not want to speculate, seen a few people saying this was the case but no one confirm it’s a fact. Why else would RB take down their review for legal reasons?
How do you like the pump so far? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a couple of these.I tried to ask the difference and couldn't get an answer. I have had mine a month and it has always been Bluetooth.
It’s not mobius? HahaThe rep at the company said the "m" version is quieter?
"And Maximum Output power 19.01 dBm"
Nope it’s MobaoIt’s not mobius? Haha
I just got my dmp10 yesterday and feel the same about the suction cups on dry side. The top one always comes loose a bit so there is a noticeable gap on the top of the dry side. I push it in at night and it comes back next morningI’ve got 4 of the smallest ones.
Been using them for about a week.
My impression thus far is they seem fine and I’m guessing most savings in their manufacturing costs were in the magnets (mechanism to hold the wet side to dry side)
The suction cups also don’t really work (it’s the dry side (outer heavy motor side) that tends to want to fall off/down
My tanks are both located rather close in corners of my basement so I was able to use a piece of 2 inch Styrofoam to help hold the heavy dry side tightly to the outside of the back of the tank out of sight
I haven’t tried to set them up to adjust flow between night and day yet
Anyone try the (m) Bluetooth Wi-Fi version? I haven’t followed every single post and just noticed there’s a dmp40 and a dmp40m and the only I could read is that one is bt/wifi and the other not? I can’t read the Ali site as it’s not accessible.
k.cleven makes a printed version for these pumps with various flow options. He's on IGDoes the NeatAquatics nem guard fit on this like it fits on the Ecotech wetsides?
Nice, I just ordered up some Wi-Fi controllers for my Jebao gyres on eBay to try out (hoping to be able to create schedules with different flow patterns). If it works out I may get a couple of the Wi-Fi 40s as well.I have several of the Jebao wifi pumps (ELW, ECP, etc) and a few of the newer bluetooth return pumps. Bluetooth is easier to setup (instant, no potential wifi hassles), but managing/using them longer term, the wifi is much easier in the app. When you open the app, the wifi pumps are there and connected, the bluetooth ones you have to press/hold the button on screen to reconnect every time.
I have a separate, dedicated 2.4ghz wireless network for all my IoT stuff, so I don't have setup issues with the wifi controllers. I know some people with mesh networks and multiple bands sharing the same SSID do have issues, but I'll go wifi every time if I have the option.
