Nice call on the RFA vendor. I don't want to comment on that one, since they are "local" and I might hit them up on some rare occasion (very rare, I've basically stopped even browsing their sales).

I bought a lot of their coral earlier on. Many of them are still in my tanks, but the survival rate of theirs has been the lowest of all vendors--that may be skewed due to them having a greater proportion of my corals in the early days when I did silly things. But then again, they did once send me a torch that was 50% brown jelly on arrival...

The majority of their problems, that I've noticed, are either "looks nothing like the pictures" or "arrived bone white in clean water and they don't have another, can pay shipping for something else".
On the pond, each piece is being chosen for what it is. Zero quickies or space filters. My 180g is a wreck at 10 years. When disaster strikes- all the good stuff dies first and the weeds take over. I'm done with weeds.
