It was tongue in cheek. Not trying to school anyoneThanks! I'll have one of each!
Yellow Candy/Twin Spot hogfish. Beautiful fish, one of my favorites. I used to always have one in my tanks. How long have you had them? Usually they will get the idea that the pellets are food over time and after they’ve seen the other fish eating them. Just make sure the pellets are small enough.
always on, but at reduced flow. With pump off, pellet goes on the sand in 3 seconds. Much better to shoot them awayYou might also try leaving the powerheads/wave makers on when feeding, the movement and being suspended in the water column a little bit should entice them.
Also, maybe you could try picking up some ROE. I’ve found that to get even the pickiest fish to eat. And I think the small round shape of the eggs kinda helps them to see the small round pellets as cool to eat. But this is just a suspicion.
I think for the most part. The second two spots decrease, redline on the face become more pronounced, and the tail becomes brighter yellow-green.I want one. NOW.
does it stay pink when adult ?
Me too,Babi

Wish mine had made it. I do love my radiant now, though. Not sure. I have an earmuff coming. I’ll let you know
Radiants are some of the nicest if not the nicest wrasse you can have in a tank.Wish mine had made it. I do love my radiant now, though.
Mine did that for a few days and will still go into the sand and call it a night whenever I put my hands or the glass scraper in the tank. I have no basis for comparison, but I started hatching baby brine shrimp when I got my wrasses to entice them into eating, and that did seem to get them going--I think they like to peak their little beaks and eyes out to see what's up. But if not, then they probably just need their time to settle down.Hey Wrasse Lovers,
I purchased two yellow coris wrasses from LFS last friday, drip acclimated them, all good, released in tank...poof, they gone in sand somewhere or hidden in rocks of my 190gal. I know people say that they can go MIA for a week or longer, but is there anything I can do?
I have shined with flashlight at night after lights out, and I cannot see any evidence of them, its just driving me crazy! You would think that they would be hungry or something, any thoughts?
