I also have a very large Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse in quarantine. This thing is huge, maybe 5 inches.

Earlier picture (8/24/2018) only slight change over the last 8 months. Grew a lot but not much color change. I got pictures when she yawns and this the fins extended more. Open mouth is not an injury or defect

Can two Wetmorella nigropinnata be kept together in a 10 gallon aquarium?

Wow, glad I checked! Just goes to show, the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. My FOWLR tank consistently has a pH of 7.8, was thinking about swapping out some of the glass for egg crate to add some gas exchange. I almost went ahead and just did it, thinking I was being paranoid.

But glass tops aren't great for wrasses either though. A wrasse can get badly injured jumping into glass tops.

10g is a little small for 2. 15g would be the minimum for 2.

I have alunare wrasse, about 5-6 inches in a 125 gallon tank. I recently started adding some corals, specifically a frogspawn, torch, and a hammer. This morning I watched the lunare biting pieces of the frogspawn off, trying to chew them, spit them out, and move on. Has anyone else experienced this? Was he simply "tasting" it or should I be concerned about him eating and killing the coral?

Would they get along? How would you add them?

Most limely he was after a critter of some kind and the coral was collateral damage.

I would not add 2 to a 10g.

@eatbreakfast
My question was confusing sorry.
I meant in a 15 would they get along and how would you add them in a 15?
As long as there are plenty of caves and rockwork they SHOULD get along if added simultaneously.

Got these two guys today from NY Aquatics. P. attenuatus and C. isoscoles. They were eating within an hour of introduction.

The attenuatus was bought as a subadult. Is it wishful thinking or does it look like it's starting to transition to male?
