My buddy just got his Reef Cleaners order about 45 minutes ago...

A lot of the ceriths and dwarf ceriths haven’t moved and look dead. Nerites, nassarius, and hermits seem fine though.

Ceriths are not my favorite snail. Too weak.

My dwarf Ceriths did good. The Florida Ceriths didn't.

Both times I ordered from them, my Conches didn't move for a day or two, then disappeared for about a month before I ever saw them again. Now, both are alive and active pretty much surfacing every 2 - 3 days.

Cerith are my favorites. They will eat anything and will turn over the sandbed without the issue that nassaurius snails bring of randomly preying on other snails. The ones from the sea of cortez seem to be the most effective overall but I really want a few of these

Would this be crazy? Or would it allow me to put corals on this vertical wall? Biggest issue I see is the power head is in the way.

Bit of shadowing from the gyre, but I'd be more worried about light spill/reflection off the glass. Good area for NPS corals!

True. I could turn it around 180 degrees, and then I'd get some light down that side, and most of the reflection would reflect into the wall. It might be enough for some low light corals.

If I try NPS, I want to put it under the arch. Like this:

Idk, I agree that end of tank would be better for nps. And you get a up close look so you know everybody is eating..
Why?
Both would need me to add flow

You already have a gyre, so the current already brings everything to that end (rather than flowing past a cave). Regardless, nps would likely require additional feeding which would be much easier if not under a ledge. The side pane would make it alot easier to see each head getting food. Don't get me wrong, I was on board with moving the light and adding low light coral(it will work) - but I like Jojos idea better..

If I were to add a powerhead and an auto feeder and then experiment until I had a food like reef roids blowing right at the bottom of the arch?

I have other projects that are less crazy than this, but I may research this in the background. If only @Northwest_Scapes_ was still on the forum, but I think he went to college.
