When this hobby blows it does-when its good its awesome-right now it blows

12yr okd hammer colony-50+ heads last week lost 10 heads in it

Just fragged it all up

Tank parameters all within what i run-calcium was at 400 but shouldn’t cause me to go out of whack

Ugh

When colonies start to get that big it is easy for them to go downhill all of a sudden. Flow and nutrients become an even more important game.

Did you try dipping? Euphyllia eating flatworms can cause things like that to happen all of a sudden too.

At any rate, sorry this happened!

Wait you lost 10 heads, but still have 40?

How does the rest of the colony look? Were they shaded? I lose shaded heads all the time.

I'm at the point where I should be chopping things up as well.
