Frag tank has been reefi uno’d! I’m really falling for these lights haha! 350 par at 30% intensity. Made me a bracket to hang it on the rms mount that came with the tank.

Metal halide lights—yeah, old school. I also started with these lights, and the tank looked better with them than without. I removed them because, during the summer, it was extremely hot in my room.

I love them! I’m still not sold on leds so I’m running a combo for now.

Grew this under halides and it’s still under a halide.. biggest colony I have in my tank now it’s the size of a dinner plate.. cut a frag and cooking it under LEDs and it’s totally morphing after 2 weeks

Got some new fish finally.. added a trio of anthias and 2 diamond bar gobies to the display.. a little yellow wrasse to the frag tank… once he grows up I’ll put in the display! My blue star leopard doesn’t play nice. Sigh..
