They are using up 72 ml of core7 per day, plus;

72 ml of each or 18 ml of each to make for 72 ml. I'm in the debate right now about moving to the triton and trying to guesstimate my prices. I checked my alk drop over 24 hours and have been told that the bottles would last me 45 days ish.

It's been 3 years since starting a Triton system tank. The pictures say it all.

I found a little amino acids and a lot of full spectrum lighting is what the corals like best.
I use 3 Kessil Tuna Blue and 3 Kessil Tuna Sun. The Kessil just didn't have enough light regardless of their specs. So I added two of the good ole 150 wt HQI metal halides and the coral colors and growth are amazing as you can see. The new metal halide fixtures and ballast are better and ever. But the ramp up and ramp down with the LED's is just fabulous. Mid day with all the lights on is closer than ever to the sunlight the corals love.

Such beautiful corals. How much are you dosing? What is your PO4 and NO3 at?
I hope to be there one day. I'm just now starting Triton.
So far I it has produced quit a lot of some algae, not hair algae or bryopsis but this brownish algae....still working on getting that dialed in to grow in the fuge and not the DT.
AMAZING TANK AND CORALS!!!

I don't monitor NO3 the PO4 was 0.01529388 mg/l at the last test. I'm dosing 64 ml per day. Your gonna love this reef keeping method.

64ml. Wow. You must spend a ton of money on core7.
Do you dose it straight or do you mix it with RO to dilute the mixture?
Also forgot to ask, do you use any PO4 media?

I'll be setting up my 220 gallon Reef tank here in Old Saybrook, CT. I have the Triton44 Sump on the way. My plans are to use the Triton method . GPWDR: Your results sold me !! Remarkable.

I'll track my progress here on the forum.

No, you don't dilute core7. I use Triton AL99 and Rowaphos, changed from one to the other every two months. As for the cost I only put in what the corals consume. So, If you don't want to spend much money put less corals in the tank. The Triton test tells you exactly what the corals are consuming and you just replace what is used up.
Instead of putting in a smorgasbord of corals one could put a couple of price pieces and grow them out to large beautiful corals.

Gotcha! Plus you could always frag and get enough $$ to pay for the elements needed...did not think of that.
I appreciate you answering my questions and taking time out of your day!

I have been using the triton method for about 6 months and have mixed results. I am struggling with the system balancing out and using a consistent amount of the core7 supplements. One day it is 3.5 others 10ml, and some days nothing. Did your system balance right away or did it take time to dial in to 64ml per day?
