Super bright and nice colony. About 30 heads. Prefer to pass it on as whole colony instead of cutting into smaller pieces. $450 shipped.

Are you doing any potassium dosing or trace elements for LPS?

Would be hard to get all orange on this one. Time to give it another shot.

Yes I dose trace elements and I’m a super stick head so I’m on top of my parameters but prob is I’ve found rainbows like under 100 par and even that they still turn orange and red for me....acan lord Mardi Gras is the only acan that’s rainbow regardless of lighting imo

Not sure why that’s the case. I’ve never had acans changed colors on me. What I get them as one/two heads always end up same colors as when I got them. Maybe just fatter and more puffy if they are in a good spot with not a ton of flow blasting it. My tank is predominantly acros with a lot of flow. I usually buy in person so if I see in person and it catches my eyes then I buy. Not sure if you got yours online where pictures were more “rainbow” when they were really just all red/orange. Lol

When I received them they sure did look rainbow but def changes color within a couple weeks in my tank. And I’ve prob bought over 20 rainbow acan frags that I end up usually giving away or selling for super cheap which is frustrating...this is the only rainbow that stayed rainbow acan lord Mardi Gras
