This is why I quit the restaurant business after 18 years...I started my restaurant a few weeks ago and I am working non-stop the whole day. I really do not have time and possibility to setup a QT right now.

That's the life cycle ich. One stage on fish, next it drops off, then in water column and back to the fish. As the cycle goes the infection will get worse.Hi all and thanks for the insights.
So this morning I checked again and the ichs seemed to disappear from the fish body except from his tail.
How do you explain this? All the other fishes are fine.
I still haven't done anything. I have to go work.
Unfortunately yes.Ok then it’s basically impossible to disappear on its own?
Technically, yes. They say once it's in your tank it's always there. But... I've had fish with ich that beat it because of a low stress environment along with a lot of good, diverse foods. Live foods like black and white worms every day, quality frozen like LRS, Rods, and Reef Nutrition products. And a little dry TDO pellets as well.Ok then it’s basically impossible to disappear on its own?
I agree with this. Stress does the same thing to humans... Makes them weaker and more prone to disease.Technically, yes. They say once it's in your tank it's always there. But... Paul B speaks of getting fish "immune" to diseases like ich with good gut bacteria and I like to follow this method.
