Hi all and thanks for the insights.

So this morning I checked again and the ichs seemed to disappear from the fish body except from his tail.

How do you explain this? All the other fishes are fine.

I still haven't done anything. I have to go work.

That's the life cycle ich. One stage on fish, next it drops off, then in water column and back to the fish. As the cycle goes the infection will get worse.

Ok then it’s basically impossible to disappear on its own?

Technically, yes. They say once it's in your tank it's always there. But... I've had fish with ich that beat it because of a low stress environment along with a lot of good, diverse foods. Live foods like black and white worms every day, quality frozen like LRS, Rods, and Reef Nutrition products. And a little dry TDO pellets as well.
Paul B speaks of getting fish "immune" to diseases like ich with good gut bacteria and I like to follow this method.

I agree with this. Stress does the same thing to humans... Makes them weaker and more prone to disease.

In my experience, clownfish will almost always cause your other fish stress. Especially as they grow bigger and reach reproductive age. And, every Royal Gramma I have ever kept was a drama queen. Your milage may vary.

Thank you all guys for the insights.

He is pretty bad now, scratching everywhere on the rocks, glass, corals. He is in pain. I am trying yo catch him to euthanise but it’s very hard. He is very very quick and he escapes in the cave.
