Yellow algae I think? Not sure what it is

I have this yellow algae or it might be something else. I’ve have had it for a while but I don’t know if I should be considered about it. It’s very soft and squishy. I don’t mind having it in the tank but I want to know if it’s going to course some problems down the road.

Sponge how old is tank? I have a yellow and orange sponge but mine is in shaded areas.

Some say it can cause problems if starts covering corals or toxins. Some say can cause problems some say no problem at all. Mine has never caused a problem and never grows out of control

Appears to be sponge. Hard to tell uunder heavy blue lighting

Sponge how old is tank? I have a yellow and orange sponge but mine is in shaded areas.
The tank is about 6 month old but I did also get that branch from wet form a local fish store.

I'll have to read in to sponges. yeah I haven't figure it out yet how to take better pictures under the blue lighting. I'm not really a fan of editing my lights just to take pictures. but I might have to.

I'll have to read in to sponges. yeah I haven't figure it out yet how to take better pictures under the blue lighting. I'm not really a fan of editing my lights just to take pictures. but I might have to.
Under.blue lighting- filters such as polyp lab or orphek phone camera filter kits
