so i have done a bunch of work so far and have almost everything for the build. i have all my lighting...2 icecap Watt mh w/icecap reflectors, 1 icecap 660 with 4 54 watt t5's and icecap reflectors, 3 current USA powerbrites, and 2 icecap 1 watt led moon lights.

i have my skI'mmer from my other tank im keeping, hurricone cat1 with the askull pump, pinwheel, and custom volute.

the have a 1/3 aqua logic chiller, 2 TLF reactors (1 with Carbon, 1 with GFO), kalk stirrer, custom ATO kit, iwaki md 55 rlt return pump, turbo twist uv (32watt).

i have the custom acrylic sump almost completed. it is 33" x 18" x 15" tall (~39 gallons). the acrylic is 1/4" with euro style top bracing. there will be 2 filter socks.

im having the tank built by im miami by a custom builder (67" x 26" x 25" tall...~189 gallons). ill be building the frame of the stand and a very good friend of mine is doing all the woodwork on the outside to make it pretty...LOL.

as i go along ill keep everyone posted!! i have a bunch of pics so far and will keep them coming.

freaking awesome work dude! well thought out!

you may wanna fab up some tube for the actual float switches them selves or they will keep going off if you get a wave in your sump. The tubes will prevent waves from incorrectly setting them off. Only when the water level rises will it make its way up the tub.

looking forward to seeing the rest of your build!

starting on the stand.....glad im not going to need a chiller!! still need to build the ATO box and stuff it under the stand somewhere. having the frame in the house is really giving me an idea of the size of the tank....gonna be bad to the bone!!
