I am doing continuous water changes at 50ltrs a day (approx 270ml every 10 mins
Using the spectra litre metre

I do use nsw (natural sea water )
much more affordable
We store 2500ltrs a time
And it's delivered so even easier

Managed to snap some shots
Besides the dead gha that's clinging to the rocks everything is looking really healthy
Coraline is on every rock now - I am sure will take over the dead gha in a fairly short time

Unfortunately my stupidity- in trying to save a sick fish has cost me heartache & worry
The orange shoulder died of what I was lead to believe was brook [emoji22]
I have 2 yellows that are not as active as they should be but are not showing the white film & are actively eating again today after a few days off their food
So hoping they will make a full recovery
Lesson learned [emoji51]
Sand goby has been a fantastic investment and has saved me having to rake the sand weekly
The addition of the 4th xf 280 gyre has improved flow & I am now very happy with what we have (only took 3mnths)

My dosing has increased somewhat
Hitting about 250ml a day cal & alk & 200ml of mag
This seems to be holding numbers really steady
I've cut the auto changes from 50ltrs a day to 20ltrs and nitrates are holding steady at 0.02
Only changing rowa every 4 weeks now instead of weekly and holding steady 0.03 which is great
Sps is growing can see new tips & what was fairly browned out is now showing some colour
TNk was stocked on the 29th April
So pretty happy to go from instant cycle to this in 14 weeks

My only question .... and this maybe construed as bad form..... Ballpark figure on cost??

Just...wow, I just read the entire thread, sometimes it is so entertaining to go through somebodys journey.
Firsts so happy and exciting, then disaster and nightmare, what an emotional rollercoaster this thread is.

It certainly has been a challenge and have to be honest was a few times I just felt like giving up
But have to be positive now & move forward
