Did you weld the seams in the vertical position?

You gonna have access to the underside of the stand? What's your plans for the sump?

No will not be able to get under the stand. There's a closet right behind the wall where the tank will sit so we will go through the wall to the sump which will sit in the closet with everything else

Actually they seemed to have come out better doing it that way.

I am missing something here. Maybe you can help me and others understand.
Could you please explain how you were able to weld the vertical joints? From my understanding, there is a soak time for the seam that relates to the type of weldon product you are using. #3 short soak time, # 4 a little longer than the #3 soak time , and # 5 the longest (alloweable) sp. soak time. How did you keep the weldon from running to the bottom of the seam and forming a puddle at the base?

Then do you apply clamp pressure to the joint? and if so how do you keep from squeezing all of the melted acrylic out of the joint ?
From my understanding it is good practice to create a fillet on both sides of the joint so that when the weldon begins to evaporate it will not creat bubbles in the joint.
Using the method you have disribed I would worry that the joint is not welding properly due to the lack of weldon and soak time.
If it were me I would keep a close eye on any of the vertical jionts welded in this manner.
