I am also cycling a good amount of natural rock since last 2 years which I bought from a lesser known online shop. I will build my reef scape with these.

The stand is coming along nicely. The basic structure is build and I also started to prime it before I assemble it. The idea is to prime it with a primer which can withstand saltwater condition well and I found this. This thing is really nice and coats the wood really well. But this thing is super heavy in texture.

The stand is coming along nicely. I put the paint today on the skeleton after two coats of marine grade primers

I am going to pick up the tank tomorrow. Since last few days I was working on the stand so that I can finish it by next week. Its coming along nicely and should be finish soon. Here are couple of pictures of it. The wrapping is marine grade 1/2 inch ply and 1/2 inch walnut ply.

I almost finished the stand except I still need to add the finish coat with polyurethane. I am pretty much happy with the end result and look but still need to add few things before I can say its done.
