IMO, 2.5-3 inches is max size for Flameback. Age would be amywhere from 2-10+ year old.

Oh nice which ones have you kept and which ones lasted a decade or more?

I will ask LFS to get in some smaller ones. If not that would suck because I don’t want an old fish. I might try at least a pair or a harem like you. First have to go home though.

BTW what do you think of Eibli, Half Black and Rusty Angels if you’ve kept them. Thanks.
