Anybody ever use a router to slightly increase the openings on the top of an acrylic tank? I've seen some of the newer tanks having larger openings in the top. I'd like to slightly increase mine to decrease shadowing and allow me greater access. Anybody have experience with this?

Routers create way more vibration then buffers do. I'm buffing a tank or now and would like bigger openings as well.

Only way I would consider is if I had a variable speed router and a multi blade, as in 3 or more, bit. Most I see are two.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
